We met in high school as two takeaway kids
We were both raised around the heat, noise and constant movement of busy kitchens. Growing up, the kitchen often felt like a place of sacrifice - where our families worked long hours, put food on the table and showed love through effort, even when they were exhausted.
As we got older, we began to see it differently. The kitchen was not only a place of responsibility, but somewhere people connected, shared stories, expressed themselves and felt proud of what they created.
Working in professional kitchens deepened that belief. We learned that an apron carries more than stains - it carries skill, memories, and hard work.
That is why we started IkoPrep: to create thoughtful kitchen essentials that help home cooks and professionals alike feel capable, connected and proud to step into the kitchen.

What materials do you use?
We’re carefully selecting durable, comfortable and easy-to-care-for materials designed to handle the demands of a busy kitchen without sacrificing design. Full fabric and care details will be revealed closer to launch.
Do you ship internationally?
For our first drop, we’ll be focusing on customers across the UK. We’re already exploring international shipping and hope to bring IkoPrep to kitchens around the world soon!
